Enjoy an Exclusive Songwriting Session with Kristian Bush of Sugarland

View original image

Calling all budding songwriters! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join forces with GRAMMY® Award winner Kristian Bush -- one half of international super-duo Sugarland -- to make your musical dreams come true.

The winner will score a private songwriting session with Kristian, the man behind some of country music's biggest hits ("Baby Girl," "Settlin'," "Stuck Like Glue"). You'll work together to craft your lyrics and melodies into a full song, and get invaluable insight into how this multiple CMA, ACM, and six-time BMI Award recipient turns ideas into reality. The winner can choose a Skype session with Kristian, or, if they are willing to travel to Atlanta, an afternoon in his studio -- where they'll walk away with a professional demo of their track.

The American country music duo Sugarland, composed of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, broke out in 2004 with their multi-platinum debut album Twice the Speed of Life, which featured their hit single “Baby Girl”. Along with featuring Sugarland’s first two No. 1 singles, “Want To” and “Settlin’,” their second album Enjoy the Ride won the duo their first GRAMMY Award for Best Country Performance By A Duo or Group with Vocals for “Stay”. Their third album, Love on the Inside, brought them three more No. 1 singles, “All I Want to Do”, “Already Gone” and “It Happens."

Sugarland has sold over 14 million albums and been nominated for 69 major music awards, of which they have won 18. Kristian Bush is currently a Governor of the Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy®.
