Liz Lewis is a leading casting director with more than 30 years of experience across all media. Operating from New York, Los Angeles, and Austin, she has cast more than 1,000 commercials and an extensive portfolio of independent films and television projects.
Her seven-season tenure as Casting Director for The Daily Show established her reputation for discovering exceptional comedic talent. She currently maintains an active development slate of more than 15 feature films ranging from independent productions to projects with budgets exceeding $30 million.
Her current pre-production slate includes Convergence, Comeback in Vienna, The Voltage Brothers, Song of the Siren, Mr. Wright's Red Inc., Returning Fire, Vindication of Terri Horton, and The Movable Line. She is also casting the television series The Great Forgotten, Etowah Ridge, The Bus, and Returning Fire, along with the animated series Dime.
Recent feature film credits include Waltzing With Brando, Trivially True, Five Gold Rings, Hollow Heights, Love on Iceland, 23 Blast, Love Sick Love, Who Is Christmas Eve?, All Wifed Out, and The Legend of Lake Ronkonkoma.
For Hallmark Channel, Liz has cast more than 10 films, including Where Are You Christmas, Royal Holiday, The Holiday Fix Up, and 12 Days of Christmas Eve. Her Lifetime Network credits include A Predator's Obsession, My Life Is a Lifetime Movie, and Truly Grimm Tales.
Her television credits include LazyTown, Mobster Confessions, How To Live Your Best Life, Screams From The Tower, and Queen Of Knives. Her animation work includes Peter Rabbit, De & Friends In Oz, and SuperKitties. She has also cast multiple reality and animated series for VH1.
