The Playboy Legacy Collection was launched in 2007 as a collaboration of Playboy Enterprises and International Images LLC. It was first sold as a three-suite, 75-boxed collection of 48 - 16” x 20” sized prints and as a limited series of individual 20” x 24” sized prints. It is a diverse selection of 48 revered images featured in Playboy magazine since its launch in 1953. Initially, the boxed set was sold to Playboy and photography aficionados for $65,000. This 2007 print is certified by International Images LLC as an original fine art archival print from the Playboy Legacy Collection. It is one of five “Directors Editions” marked d.e. / 5/5 signed by Hugh Hefner. This print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, bearing the official, embossed Playboy Bunny logo seal and certified by International Images LLC as an original archival print from the Playboy Legacy Collection, printed in 2007.

Photographer: John Derek – (1926 – 1998) American actor, director, producer and a talented photographer (among his works - the most famous photographs of women, including those to whom he was married). His passion for cinema and theater manifested quite early - even in childhood. Among his most memorable works were roles in such films as All the King`s Men (1949) Knock on Any Door (1949), Fury at Showdown and other films. Special attention is the acting talent of John Derek. His fans honored the movie The Ten Commandments, in which Derek played the role of Jesus. Derek’s images were iconic and excellently photographed, creating great pictures, among which deserve special attention of numerous photos of women, printed in fashion magazines, including Playboy. His four wives were: Bo Derek (movie “Ten”), Linda Evans (TV, “Dallas”), Ursula Andress and Honey Ryder, James Bond girls in the Bond movie “Dr. No” and model, Pati Behrs.
