Meet your Vronsky colt, the sale topper of the recent Fasig-Tipton California yearling sale who was personally selected by trainer John Sadler, trainer of undefeated Horse of the Year and Breeders’ Cup champion, Flightline, for West Point Thoroughbreds.
The colt is sired by Vronsky, who himself was a $1-million yearling purchase by the immortal stallion Danzig and established himself in the stallion shed as a leading sire of California-breds over the last 15+ years. Vronsky’s son, The Chosen Vron punched his ticket to this year’s Breeders’ Cup with a remarkable 12th stakes victory in the Grade I Bing Crosby Stakes. His mother is Seasontoperfection, who has produced a perfect seven winners from seven foals, including Kings River Knight, who Sadler has campaigned to multiple stakes wins and over $300,000 in earnings. Two more of her foals have earned six figures, while second dam Grilltoperfection is responsible for a pair of 11-time winners on the track. The Vronsky colt is learning his lessons at a training center and is expected to join the Sadler barn in California next year (2024) as a two-year-old.
