Virginia (with her creative partner Natasha) was responsible for the remarkable make-up design in Slumdog Millionaire and has worked on countless other films including, Vanity Fair and Bollywood smash Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

fat mu is the vision of make-up designers Natasha Nischol and Virginia Holmes. The two met through mutual friends and discovered they both shared a dream of creating something fantastic with make-up in India. With Mumbai as their backdrop, and drawing from their professional experience in the UK and India, the pair decided to set up a company offering make-up services of an international standard for - Film and Television, Fashion and Trends, Fringe and Theatre -make-up – fat mu!

Their professional portfolio also includes a selection of international faces in ads, editorials and music videos from Garnier, Dove, MTV, Reebok, Tommy Hillfiger, Vogue, GQ, Disney to The Discovery and Hallmark Channels to name a few.

In addition to this fat mu conduct personal make-up workshops - for the professional and non-professional - plus make-over’s, image consultancy and make-up for events. fat mu love pushing the boundaries of make-up design by introducing and exploring new techniques and products, thus giving creative choice personally and professionally to anyone wanting make-up services.
