Enjoy a 6-month virtual mentorship with mental health advocate & Stanford Student, Cherrial Odell adults and young people are both welcome as Cherrial will share her personal experiences, insights and tools she gained from her struggles with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts/attempts to how she healed to find self-sustaining happiness and mended relationships with her family members who struggled with addiction and their own mental health.

Cherial Odell is now Vice President of the Mental Health Club at Stanford University. Cherrial is the President of “Wellness Buddies” at Stanford, a substance free social life and wellness program she created with Jewel, the singer-songwriter and mental health lived experience expert.
Cherrial is a graduate of Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation where she was the programs intern for six years and ambassador for three. Cherrial is a two time Suicide attempt survivor and a living heroic example that trauma and adverse childhood experiences can be healed. Cherrial was a nationally ranked scholar-athlete in tennis and Valedictorian of her high school.
During Covid-19 Cherrial took two gap years where she created the INSPIRE HOUSE Mental Health Community that reached 2.7 million people, as well as a mental health product called “Inspire Cards” that help youth heal through meaningful conversation and self evaluation. 2019-2022 Cherrial helped produce the largest known online “World Mental Health Day Summit and Concert” and led the community outreach initiative with hundreds of mental health partners.
Cherrial’s wisdom and levels of joy have made her an incredible spokesperson for mental health on TV, film, at a variety of conferences and organizations. Cherrial’s wisdom has been shared on the Kelly Clarkson Show, at Kroger’s Wellness Festival, in three mental health feature stories/ documentaries and as part of Lady Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation Advisory Board.
As a freshman on scholarship at Stanford University Cherrial was chosen freshman year to be a teachers assistant by her Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity professor and was given a job in the universities Health & Human Performance department.
Cherrial has risen above extreme childhood trauma to find peace of mind and levels of joy so meaningful it brings her tears of joy. She has found a deep love for her life and is extremely passionate about sharing it with others.
