Wolfgang Hammer is currently the head of Miramax Film where he's producing Alexander Payne's and Guy Ritchie's next films, among others. Previously, Wolfgang was the founder and CEO of Super Deluxe, an award-winning creator collective funded by Time Warner that produced TV, film, short form video, live video and music. Super Deluxe was culturally renowned as a leader in the scouting of pop culture creators such as Billie Eilish and its network had the largest reach in the 18-25 demo in the US. Super Deluxe was named A Top 10 innovative Company in Hollywood by Fast Company, alongside Netflix and A24. The LA Times called Super Deluxe “the future of TV” and the New Yorker “a unique voice in entertainment.” Under Wolfgang's creative leadership, Super Deluxe developed and sold 8 TV dramas and comedies in less than two years to HBO, Apple and Netflix, working with top talent such as Academy Award winner Steve Gaghan (Traffic, Syriana), Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley), Uma Thurman, Jonathan Entwistle (End of the Fucking World) and Emmy winner creator Alec Berg (Barry, Seinfeld). Prior to Super Deluxe, Wolfgang was President of CBS Films, where he was nominated for Academy Awards and Golden Globes each year and achieved its top three box office hits to date, working with Academy Award winners such as the Coen Bros (Inside Llewyn Davis), Martin McDonagh (Seven Psychopaths) and Jeff Bridges (Hell or High Water). He came to CBS from Lionsgate, where he was Executive Vice President of Film, championing the company’s biggest box office success in its history, Hunger Games, among others. Wolfgang started his producing career at Media Rights Capital where he discovered and produced House of Cards, a show that launched Netflix’ original series offering. He also oversaw mega-hit Ted by Seth MacFarlane and The Adjustment Bureau starring Matt Damon, The Life and Times of Tim for HBO and the Night Chronicles trilogy of films, produced by M. Night Shyamalan.
