He is the recipient of 9 BMI Awards, 21 ASCAP Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and 17 Grammy nominations. His songs have achieved number-one status all over the world, having sold more than 400 million copies. All of his most recent collaborations with Ariana Grande have hit #1 on the Billboard charts, including "Break Up with Your Girlfriend" and "God Is a Woman".
In the narrative film and TV space, Savan developed an original TV pitch with Temple Hill and Tommy Kail, which is now set up at Apple. He also sold an original feature idea based on his life to Universal with Marc Platt producing, Sanjay Shah adapting and Nisha Ganatra attached to direct. Savan is currently producing and executive music producing an animated film at Netflix, and he is currently working with Temple Hill to develop a film based off one of his hit songs.
On the film soundtrack front, Savan wrote and executive music produced all of the original music for the Charlie's Angels soundtrack, including the hit single "Don't Call Me an Angel" which has over 200+ Million Streams on Spotify and 163+ Million views on YouTube. More recently, Savan wrote all the original songs for the Netflix feature, Eurovision in which the song "Husavik" was nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars. Savan has recording studios from LA to Sweden and has achieved premier status as one of the most sought out songwriters and record producers of the generation with no signs of slowing down.
