Born in India and raised in New York, wish kid Tunav learned the value of strength, persistence, and positivity from his hardworking parents.
These lessons helped him overcome a battle against leukemia and as a Make-A-Wish® recipient, Tunav’s passion for art and storytelling lead him to an opportunity of a lifetime. In 2016, Tunav was granted his wish to go to sneaker camp in Portland, OR to design his own shoe with the team at Pensole and Adidas.
Tunav says, "While battling leukemia, my wish was to design my own pair of shoes, now I’m able to help other kids in similar circumstances receive their own wish."
