Red Carpet Green Dress is a positive fashion campaign founded by Suzy Amis Cameron fundraising for MUSE School CA.

Actress, environmental advocate, educator and wife of director James Cameron, Amis Cameron founded RCGD in 2009 and has worked with internationally acclaimed designers each year to dress stars in ethical formal wear and jewelry for the Academy Awards®. Numerous celebrities have stood with RCGD and walked the red carpet in the name of sustainability including but not limited to Emma Roberts (Scream Queens), Sophie Turner (X-Men, Game of Thrones), Naomie Harris (Moonlight), Gina Rodriguez (Annihilation, Jane the Virgin), Kellan Lutz (Twilight), Jake McDorman (American Sniper) and Missi Pyle (Gone Girl). Since its inception, the campaign has grown to include brand collaborations, internships, knowledge-share platforms and educational experiences for students.

Now going into its tenth year, the sustainable fashion campaign sets the challenge for creatives, emerging and established designers worldwide to create a Red Carpet worthy dress, or tuxedo, from environmentally and socially responsible fabrics – thus fulfilling the Green Dress criteria. The final ethical designs were worn on the red carpet at the Annual Academy Awards® on 24 February 2019.
