The Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute was established in 1997 by the Abramson Family Foundation to create an environment where research advances and patient care are intertwined, so that cancer patients benefit from the most advanced treatments while being cared for in a way that is intensely individual. The mission of the Institute is to support and facilitate innovative cancer research; to deliver outstanding patient-centered cancer care; and to educate professionals who share a commitment to excellence in cancer research and treatment.
The Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute (AFCRI), which is the research arm of the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, will be the grateful beneficiary of this exclusive charity golf package benefiting both prostate cancer and breast cancer research & clinical trials.
