OUR MISSION: Childhood USA's mission is to inspire, promote, and develop solutions to end sexual abuse, exploitation, and violence against children.

World Childhood Foundation (Childhood) envisions a world where all children are free from violence, sexual abuse, and exploitation. Founded in 1999 by H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, for more than 20 years Childhood is investing in the development of solutions to prevent and address child sexual abuse and exploitation. As a United Nations accredited NGO, every year Childhood supports over 100 projects globally and raises awareness about our cause. Our work is aligned with the global Sustainable Development Goal 16.2 – ending abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children by 2030. Childhood is a global player, catalyst for change and thought leader. It is a commissioner of the United Nations Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development and the co-chair of the Commission’s Working Group on Child Online Safety. Additionally, Childhood is a board member of the End Violence Partnership, the Early Childhood Development and Peace Building Consortium and a Member of the Steering Committee to the World Economic Forum's Advancing Digital Content Safety project.
