Vaughan announces their second annual Made in the Shade campaign, a partnership with Watts of Love. Vaughan and Watts of Love, a global solar lighting nonprofit bringing people the power to raise themselves out of the darkness of poverty, have come together to engage the international design community in both the United Kingdom and North America, while bringing light and love to those in need.
Thirty designers from North America and the United Kingdom have been chosen to design an eye-catching Vaughan lampshade for their favorite Vaughan lamp for their local showroom, which will be on display through the month of October. For every social media post that uses the activation’s hashtags #vaughanXwattsoflove and #madeintheshade, Vaughan will donate $1 to Watts of Love.
Vaughan has partnered with world renowned Christie’s to auction the 30 beautifully designed lamps and shades, with all proceeds directly benefiting Watts of Love. The auction is presented through Christie’s Culture & Philanthropy online platform, powered by Charitybuzz, and will run from October 1st – 21st.
