The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation helps to build character and teach critical life lessons to at-risk young people living in America’s most distressed communities. Inspired by one of the most iconic baseball families in history, the Ripkens created the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to honor the legacy of its family patriarch, coach, and mentor, Cal Ripken, Sr. Since 2001, the Ripken Foundation has worked tirelessly to impact underserved kids and communities with the help of hundreds of youth-serving organizations and law enforcement agencies across the country.

Today, through our signature juvenile crime prevention and group mentoring program, Badges for Baseball, as well as our summer camps; STEM Centers; I’m GREAT, a girls’ initiative; one-day direct service events; and our Instructional Leagues, we impact over 1.5M underserved youth in need of positive direction. In addition to our programs, the Ripken Foundation builds multipurpose synthetic surface fields to provide clean, safe places for kids with all abilities to play, learn, and grow.

All proceeds from our auction items go to support the work of the Foundation and the at-risk youth we impact throughout the year.
