The Kentucky Rising Fund was created in response to the devastating flooding in Eastern Kentucky earlier this summer. Kentucky Rising, a benefit concert held at Lexington’s Rupp Arena on October 11 featuring performances by Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam, Tyler Childers, and special guest appearances by Patty Loveless, Ricky Skaggs, and S.G. Goodman, has raised over $2.8M for the Kentucky Rising Fund.
The donor-advised fund at the Blue Grass Community Foundation will strategically support both immediate needs and long-term recovery projects.
