The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to curing and preventing cancer. The SWCRF is a pioneer in collaborative cancer research, focusing on uncovering the causes of cancer and reprogramming cancer cells. This research is used to develop tailored, minimally toxic treatments for patients with all types of cancer.
Through our collaborative group of world-class scientists, the Institute Without Walls, investigators exchange expertise and tools to speed the pace of cancer research. Since our inception in 1976, the Foundation has awarded more than $100 million to support research for over 200 researchers across the globe.
