As Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Scripted Development at MGM Television, Lindsay Sloane is responsible for developing and selling new projects. Currently, she is overseeing production of The Handmaids Tale for Hulu, which is currently shooting its fifth season and has won multiple awards including fourteen Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards and a BAFTA Award. She has previously overseen Perpetual Grace, LTD for EPIX starring Sir Ben Kingsley, Jacki Weaver and Jimmi Simpson which aired in Spring 2019; and Four Weddings and a Funeral from Mindy Kaling for Hulu and starring Nathalie Emmanuel, Nikesh Patel, Rebecca Rittenhouse and John Reynolds. Sloane also oversaw production on The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair, which helped to launch Sky Witness in September 2018, and stars Patrick Dempsey, Ben Schnetzer, Damon Wayans Jr. and Virginia Madsen. Sloane was an executive producer and was nominated for a Producers Guild Award, as well as a Primetime Emmy Award and for her work on HBOs Paterno, which was nominated for two Emmy Awards including Outstanding Television Movie. Sloane joined MGM Television in 2015 from TriStar Productions, where she held the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Television. At TriStar, Sloane reported to Tom Rothman and built the television department from the ground up, developing a slate of projects and selling them to various broadcast cable and streaming platforms, and executive produced The Interestings for Amazon. Prior to TriStar, Sloane worked at Hypnotic, where she served as Co-Executive Producer on Covert Affairs for the USA Network. Previous to that, she was Co-Head of Development, Drama, for Fox Broadcasting Company. Lindsay Sloane is an active member of the Television Academy and the PGA and is a graduate of Northwestern University.
