NYU grad Cameron Ali Fay made his feature directorial debut on Maybe Its You (fka Platonic) for Peacock. He wrote and is attached to direct his next feature Until You for Di Novi Pictures, from a script which made the 2024 Black List, and which will star Jack Quaid and Meghann Fahy. He is also currently attached to write/direct an adaptation of the award-winning Iranian-American novel Darius the Great Is Not Okay for Hidden Pictures/Universal. Cameron recently wrote the romantic comedy Tell Me You Love Me for 21 Laps and was hired to write an original action/comedy for Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios, as well as the action/western, Thorny Rose, which has Paul Feig attached to direct and produce. He previously adapted the novel Theres a Word for That for Hilary Swank to produce/star, wrote a film adaptation of the TV show Cops which Ruben Fleischer is attached to direct/produce, and wrote the produced feature Brother Nature for Paramount and SNL legend Lorne Michaels Broadway Video. In TV, he created Troll for ABC Studios with Ruben Fleischer and Dave Bernad EPing and Ben McKenzie starring, as well as original half-hours for Sony and IFC. Cameron is Iranian-American and the co-founder of the WGAs Middle Eastern Writers Committee. He's also the only person ever to be selected for both the Sony writers and directors programs.
