Artist bio:
Cassy Tully, golf artist and philanthropist, meticulously creates each of her original paintings using her signature relief-painting technique. Based on her research of Italian relief artwork, she blends traditional sculpting techniques with modern painting materials, increasing the surface texture and the illusion of perspective. Her passion for philanthropy and mission to make a difference grounded in partnerships with the PGA of America REACH Foundation and Jack Nicklaus; U.S. Olympic Ski & Snowboard; the Veteran Golfers Association; and through her work with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Arnold Palmer Foundation and others. Two of her original paintings were commissioned and auctioned at the exclusive Indian Creek Country Club to benefit PGA REACH. Cassys studio is near Pinehurst, NC, the ideal location to thrive as a golf artist. Her most recent commission is a large-scale painting for The University of Alabama capturing the signature hole of a newly designed 9-hole course by Davis Love III. Her travels for Member-Guest Tournaments and fundraising events have taken her to iconic clubs and destinations including San Antonio Country Club, The Cliffs at Mountain Park, Lake Forest Country Club, Yellowstone Country Club, Desert Mountain Club, and The Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews. In addition, Cassy created art for XXIO golf tournaments at Whistling Straits, Pebble Beach and Kiawah Island. Her love of championship golf also includes creating the official artwork for the Ryder Cup; the PGA Championship; the U.S. Womens Open; the U.S. Amateur; the Western Amateur: BMW Championship; and the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. Cassys roots are in Wisconsin, and her paintings have been featured across Kohler properties along with commemorative artwork celebrating the Milwaukee Brewers 50th anniversary.
