Santarpia is the Former Chief Digital Officer at Condé Nast in NYC. Condé Nast is a premier media company renowned for producing the highest quality content for the world's most influential audiences. Attracting more than 144 million consumers across its industry-leading print, digital and video brands, the company’s portfolio includes some of the most iconic titles in media: Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Brides, Self, GQ, GQ Style, The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler, Allure, AD, Bon Appétit, Epicurious, Wired, W, Golf Digest, Teen Vogue, Ars Technica, Pitchfork, them and Iris.
Santarpia joined the company in 2012, where as EVP and CDO of Condé Nast Entertainment he helped launch the company’s dedicated video business, led the acquisitions of Pitchfork and Citizen Net, and oversaw the company’s launch of its Spire data business as well as the global rollout of the Copilot proprietary content management system. Prior to joining Condé Nast, Santarpia was GM of Vevo, the music-video venture backed by Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Google. Santarpia also held senior-level positions at UMG and consulting firm Arthur Andersen. Santarpia has a deep understanding of content and has built major editorial and content franchises that deliver millions in annual revenue as well as deep experience in audience development, delivering consistent double-digit growth in total audience and cultivating "high value' cohort segments that unlock additional revenue streams centered on improved engagement and the consumer's propensity to pay for content.
