In the past half century, no name has been more synonymous with the New York Yankees than Derek Jeter. His rise coincided with the resurgence of the most storied franchise in American sports and over his 20-year career in the Bronx, the Yankees made the playoffs 18 times, won five World Series, and never finished with a losing record.
The ’96 playoffs were the first of many instances where his prowess on the field immediately translated into success off the field. The Yankees went on to win the World Series that year, and again in 1998 with one of the greatest teams ever—the first year of a three-peat.
After the ’96 championship, Jeter found himself front-and-center on the coveted commemorative Wheaties box before earning himself his own Jeter-branded Frosted Flakes a year later.
Jeter’s cereal was marketed in a “Limited Edition Collector’s Box”—but there were ONLY TWELVE of these boxes that became part of the elite genuine Limited Edition, an exclusive creation numbered 1-12 of 12, which featured a genuine Derek Jeter signature on the front of his branded cereal box, adjacent to the Edition number, all in bold black marker.
Presented here is Number 1 of 12 of this exclusive Limited Edition. Rare, highly collectible, the Jeter’s Frosted Flakes box is hand-signed by Jeter, and hand-numbered 1/12.
The box itself is loaded with Jeter photos, MLB and NY insignias, all on a background of Yankees stripes. The box has been folded flat and left intact, for framing and display. It comes freshly framed within a navy blue frame with multiple layers of blue and white matting. Framed size measures 21-1/4" height x 17-1/4" width x 3/4" depth.
Jeter’s signature has been examined and authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA), and the piece comes accompanied by a JSA Certificate of Authenticity, along with its original July 2000 presentation documentation that accompanied the Limited Edition.

Jeter also earned American League Rookie of the Year honors, and took home the 2000 World Series MVP. His 3,465 career hits rank sixth all-time. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, he received possible 396 of 397 votes, the second-highest percentage in MLB history.
