Before becoming an Emmy-winning filmmaker, Jim served 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Colonel. For nearly two decades as a Combat Camera officer, he led combat documentary teams on five deployments around the globe, including Haiti, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan-capturing history as it unfolded.
Jim Fabio’s extraordinary career bridges Hollywood, elite sports storytelling, and military documentary filmmaking. He’s covered 5 Super Bowls 2 Olympics and the competitors on American Ninja Warrior, worked with A-List celebrity icons such as Oprah Winfrey, Brett Favre, Katie Couric, Rob Riggle, Payton Manning and John Mayer; and numerous awards for his efforts, including Emmys, Cine Golden Eagle, Voice and Telly Awards.
