Honda Indy Toronto is a world-class motorsports festival which takes place annually on a 2.874-kilometre (1.786-mile), 11-turn temporary circuit using the streets surrounding Exhibition Place near Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto. The non-stop racing action is headlined by Round 10 of the 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season on Sunday, July 16. The weekend will also feature fender-banging stock car racing from the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, thrilling sports car action from Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin and a combined effort from two Radical series as Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin and its American counterpart Blue Marble Radical Cup North America will race together in a “race-within-race” format. The event provides festivalgoers a unique experience that attacks their senses from the sights and sounds of the racetrack to the aromas and flavours of the numerous food and beverage vendors stationed across the Exhibition Place grounds. Thunder Alley adds interactive displays, activations and fun for all ages.
Your Honda Indy Toronto experience is enhanced with 4 Paddock Passes, giving you access to the “locker room of motorsports.” Better known as the GARAGE area in the racing industry, the paddock pass allows you to be at the heart of the action amongst drivers, mechanics, officials, team owners and, of course, the 'other' stars of the show - the mighty machines themselves - the very Indy cars that will take to the track at record speeds in the main event. The best times to visit the IndyCar paddock are following on-track practice or qualifying sessions, when the area will be a buzz of activity. As one of Ontario's largest annual sporting events with the first race held in 1986 first known as the Molson Indy, it has become a prestigious meeting place for some of the world’s fastest race car drivers including past NTT INDYCAR SERIES champions like Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden, Simon Pagenaud and Will Power, as well as Canadian racing greats Scott Goodyear, James Hinchcliffe, Greg Moore, Alex Tagliani, Paul Tracy, Jacques Villeneuve, Robert Wickens, and more. Canadian Devlin DeFrancesco is planned to be in the 2023 starting field.
