Chapaquiddick producer Mark Ciardi is the Founder, President & CEO of Select Films. Prior to Select, Mark was the co-founder of Mayhem Pictures, and had an overall first look deal with Walt Disney Studios for twelve years. Mark has produced an impressive slate of films over his fifteen year career, including, The Rookie, Miracle, Invincible, The Game Plan, Secretariat, Million Dollar Arm, McFarland USA, The Tooth Fairy and the critically acclaimed Emmy Award winning ESPN 30 for 30 documentary Big Shot. An All-State high school pitcher from New Jersey, Mark continued his baseball career at the University of Maryland, where he earned his B.S. in Business. He was drafted out of college by the Milwaukee Brewers organization, ultimately getting called up to the Major Leagues as a pitcher. Mark is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and serves on the board of trustees at the University of Maryland.
Campbell began his film career as a studio executive at Newline Cinema. He later joined Lotus Entertainment as a Production and Development Executive, where he was involved in a slate of films including The Grey, Killing Them Softly, and The Kids Are Alright. Before joining Select Films as a producer, He and Mark Ciardi Produced Fallen, based on the International best selling book series. Together they also produced Chappaquiddick and The Miracle Season, both released this past Spring. Campbell earned his AB in English Literature and Anthropology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA.
