Fashion Girls for Humanity is raising funds to support recovery and rebuilding efforts in Altadena and Pacific Palisades following the LA wildfires. While communities have already come together and initial funds have been raised, much more remains to be done. The organization’s focus is on providing grants to elementary schools and local arts communities in these affected areas.

FASHION GIRLS FOR HUMANITY, is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded by fashion industry leaders Julie Gilhart, Kikka Hanazawa, Miki Higasa, and Tomoko Ogura in the wake of the 2011 JapanEarthquake and Tsunami Disaster. FGFH has evolved its mission to bring humanitarian services and funds to communities in need through its global network of fashion and design industry professionals. In 2014, Fashion Girls for Humanity was honored the Game Changers Award from the Asia Society in recognition of inspiring, enlightening, and for exercising leadership in areas that reflect Asia Society’s core pillars of policy and business, arts and culture, and education.
