FASHION GIRLS FOR HUMANITY, is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded by fashion industry leaders Julie Gilhart, Kikka Hanazawa, Miki Higasa, and Tomoko Ogura in the wake of the 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster. FGFH has evolved its mission to bring humanitarian services and funds to communities in need through its global network of fashion and design industry professionals. FGFH, Waves for Water, and Shikshya Foundation are collaborating to help provide much-needed aid in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Nepal. In 2014, Fashion Girls for Humanity was honored the Game Changers Award from the Asia Society in recognition of inspiring, enlightening, and for exercising leadership in areas that reflect Asia Society’s core pillars of policy and business, arts and culture, and education.
