Founded in 1949, AHRC New York City’s mission is to advocate for people who are neurodiverse to lead full and equitable lives. Our organization supports over 15,000 New Yorkers with disabilities each year, of all ages, through a wide array of services, including specialized schools, residential opportunities, day services, employment training and placement, camping and recreational activities, mental health support, and many more. We believe that equity for individuals with disabilities is part of a greater social justice movement and are proud of AHRC NYC's 75+-year history of changing lives for the better!
