Aniridia Foundation International (AFI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people born with low vision or blindness due to a genetic defect causing Aniridia Syndrome. AFI helps children and adults who are affected and their families through assisting with research advancements, educational resources, professionals and patient conferences, and crucial support. Through these initiatives, AFI is also working toward better treatments to retain vision and a cure for Aniridia Syndrome.
