Fernando Allende may be best known as a singer, producer, and director, but his paintings are a pure and sincere expression of himself. Drawing inspiration from his family and his surroundings, Allende's paintings are often abstract and filled with colorful images.

This vibrant abstract painting from Allende is a perfect example of his work. A black background sets the stage for a kaleidoscope of color, twists and turns in this exceptional limited edition giclée of acrylic on canvas called "Mari." Measuring 48" x 40," this beautiful piece is #3/250 and is hand signed and numbered.

Artist bio:
Fernando Allende was born and raised in Mexico City. He started painting in 1999 as a resident of Aspen where he lived with his family for 18 years. He was inspired by the vast natural beauty of the area and the creativity of the community The Misrachi family (of Galeria Misrachi) discovered Fernando and helped to launch his career as an artist. The Misrachi family is credited with propelling the careers of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, Mexico's most famous 20th century masters. Fernando has been called one of Mexico's most dynamic 21st century artists at the Art Biennale in Florence, Italy. Mexico City's Eugenio Lopez - who owns the world's largest contemporary art collection in the world (Jumex Museum) - has acquired three of Fernando's paintings, boosting the value of his work. Fernando has had 18 art shows and paintings in 58 collection around the world
