Enjoy a luxurious one-week stay for up to 8 people at La Porta ai Cieli, the legendary Max Weinberg’s Tuscany Villa!

La Porta ai Cieli is a lavish villa boasting four bedrooms, four bathrooms, living room space with sofas, a large TV and open fire place, a kitchen area with modern culinary facilities, a dining area, a beautiful swimming pool with Roman steps, a garden and more.

There’s central heating, ceiling fans, washer and dryer, and internet access with broadband WiFi available. (A private chef is also available for you to hire during your stay).  The villa also includes the use of a small, fully-renovated cottage outside by the pool.

This 700 year old Villa is one of those classical dream Tuscany villas - a traditional stone built house with terracotta tiles and ancient wooden beams, bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, outdoor terraces with fabulous far reaching views, and in a much sought after location with hilltop villages, shops and restaurants close by. Above all else it is immersed in the beautiful Tuscan countryside surrounded by olive and cypress trees and with the additional delights of Umbria on the door step. La Porta ai Cieli is located in the Niccone Valley, just 2 hours from Florence and 20 minutes from Cortona. The valley forms the border between modern Tuscany and Umbria, but in previous centuries it was also the boundary between The Papal States & The Grand Duchy of Tuscany as well. This Valley of Castles, with innumerable inhabited and ruined ancient castles on both sides of the valley, is testimony to the ancient rivalries that existed here and the historical significance of this fascinating part of the country.
