Meg Liberman joined CBS Television Studios as Senior Vice President of Casting in September 2008 where she oversees the day-to-day casting for all CBS Television Studio programs.
Liberman has been nominated for eleven Emmy Awards, winning three Emmys for the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon" in 1998, "Band of Brothers" in 2002, and “The Pacific” in 2010. Other Emmy Award nominations include "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (2007), "The Path to 9/11" (2006), "Into The West" (2005), "The Comeback" (2005), "Pushing Daisies" (2008), and multiple nods for "Seinfeld". Additionally, she has been nominated fifty six times for the coveted Artios Award by the Casting Society of America, winning eleven times for the following projects: “The Pacific,” "Band of Brothers," "Seinfeld (three awards)," "The Larry Sanders Show," “Dilbert”, "Third Rock from The Sun", “The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd,” and “Pushing Daisies (two awards).” Meg is the recipient of the coveted Hoyt Bowers award for 2011, also given by the Casting Society of America.
On the feature side, Meg cast one of the most successful independent films of all time, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," and Liberman produced cult favorite "Playing by Heart," starring Angelina Jolie, Sean Connery and Gena Rowlands. Other feature casting credits include “Eurotrip”, “The X-Files Movie”, and the infamous “Masked and Anonymous”.
Liberman founded her own company in 1984, before she partnered with Marc Hirschfeld from 1987 to 1999 and with Cami Patton from 1999-2008.
At CBS Television Studios, Meg oversees the casting of the primetime series on CBS and The CW. The diverse roster of popular and critically-acclaimed series include the phenomenally successful CSI franchise; worldwide favorites "NCIS” and “NCIS: LA;" “The Good Wife” starring Emmy/Golden Globe Award-winning Julianna Margulies;" "Hawaii 5-0,” “Blue Bloods,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Elementary;” as well “Beauty and the Beast” and “Reign” on the CW. Newly added freshman series include “Madam Secretary” with the critically acclaimed Tea Leoni, “The Odd Couple” with star and executive producer Matthew Perry and “Jane the Virgin” for the CW with indie-film breakout star Gina Rodriguez.
