Everyone has a song! Your choice of a personal solo performance for up to 50 guests or a group songwriting workshop with legendary Morley.
From Carnegie Hall to the Nomad Women's Festival in the Sahara Desert, Morley has brought her unique blend of jazz, folk and soul to the world's stage. Be it solo with her acoustic guitar or with full band, her message is consistent and clear; love, justice and inspiration. Awarded as Songwriter of the Year from ASCAP and heralded as Emerging Artist of the Year by the New York Times, Morley was the voice for Ralph Lauren's fragrance commercial Romance and a mainstay of several network television shows and documentaries.
Morley uses music as a tool for conflict resolution. TEDWomen calls her song, Women of Hope, their "anthem". Her music has brought her before The Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, Richard Branson and Ban Ki-moon. She has written, collaborated and shared the stage with distinguished artists including Angélique Kidjo, Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, Queen Latifah and Wynton Marsalis.
Thousand Miles, Morley’s sixth studio album, is the culmination of a global journey to sites of incredible resilience and tremendous trauma — United States, Rwanda, Hiroshima, the open uranium mines at the Pine Ridge Reservation in the Black Hills — where human dignity, love, and resolve are expanding the frontiers of change, justice, and healing. The thirteen songs resound with a layered serenade to the most elemental forces holding humanity together — friendship and love — and to the sanctity of the elements that bind us to the rest of nature: water, air, soil.
Morley has released five full length recordings with Sony, Universal, Polydor, Sunny Side Records and independently.
