Own Watch No. 2 of 3 from the exclusive "Solidarity" collection created in honour of Pope Francis and enjoy a Vatican experience for two, including a brief opportunity to exchange words with Pope Leo XIV following a Sunday Mass at the Vatican.
This extraordinary lot centres around one of the most significant timepieces ever produced by Tismo Geneve. Limited to just three pieces worldwide, the collection was created as a tribute to the values championed by Pope Francis throughout his papacy: solidarity, unity and mutual respect.
Watch No. 1 was presented to Pope Francis himself.
The watch offered in this auction is Watch No. 2 of 3 and holds exceptional provenance. This is the actual prototype watch personally held by Pope Francis during its presentation.
The timepiece itself is a masterpiece of Swiss watchmaking. Powered by a Swiss-made tourbillon movement with an impressive 110-hour power reserve, it features a black onyx dial, hand-engraved depictions of St. Peter's Basilica and Pope Francis, twelve diamonds symbolising the twelve apostles, and sapphire crystal on both the front and rear of the case.
Designed under the theme of "Solidarity," the watch incorporates symbols representing the world's four largest religions, reflecting Pope Francis' lifelong commitment to interfaith dialogue and peace.
In addition to owning this remarkable collector's piece, the winning bidder and a guest will travel to the Vatican for a unique experience. Following a Sunday Mass, Pope Leo XIV is expected to personally greet attendees, providing the winner with a brief opportunity to exchange words with His Holiness as part of the occasion. This is not a private audience, but rather a rare opportunity to participate in a historic Vatican experience during the early period of Pope Leo XIV's papacy.
Lot Includes:
Experience Includes: A private guided walk through the Vatican Gardens, including access to select areas not ordinarily open to the public, as well as the vicinity of the residence where Pope Benedict XVI lived.
This lot represents a unique bridge between two papacies: a timepiece personally connected to Pope Francis and an experience linked to the beginning of Pope Leo XIV's pontificate.
