Ms. Richardson is a Matrimonial Partner at Davidoff, Hutcher & Citron LLP and has fought complex divorce cases with clients that include a Nobel-Prize nominated economist, a prominent music magazine editor, and one of spouses on the hit television show The Real Housewives of New York. Ms Richardson is also the creator of the Divorce Artist blog. Ms. Richardson focuses her practice on divorce and family law and regularly handles cases that involve complex divorce litigation, alimony, child support, pre-nuptials, parent coordination, separation agreements, post-nuptial agreements, parental access and visitation, collaborative divorce, property division, equitable distribution, orders of protection, and LGBT family law issues.

Prior to practicing family law, Ms. Richardson worked in business litigation, representing Fortune 500 companies. That experience, and her personal life as a divorced parent, gives Ms. Richardson the understanding and ability to fight for the rights of her clients. She knows the challenges that come with divorce and other family law matters and seeks to find the best solution possible. Ms. Richardson is active in her local and legal community. She is the author of several articles on divorce for The Huffington Post, the Good Men’s Project, and is often quoted by other publications.
In 2007, Ms. Richardson was presented with the president’s citation award from the Maryland Bar Foundation. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, where she currently serves on the Committee for Women in the Law. She is named by Super Lawyers as one of New York’s Rising Stars, and by the American Society of Legal Advocates as a Top 40 Family Lawyer Under 40 in New York.
