Directed by Brian de Palma, with a screenplay written by Oliver Stone, 1983’s Scarface earned its place in cinematic history as one of the best films in the crime genre, remarkable for its raw and riveting performances.
This still image from Scarface shows Al Pacino (as Tony Montana) and Steve Bauer (as Manny Ribera), in an early scene in the film, having drinks in sizzling hot Miami, not yet hinting at the drama that was yet to unfold. (Anyone who has seen Scarface will recall that this is the funniest scene in the entire film!)
The photograph has been hand-signed by Al Pacino, in a large bold signature in blue marker, lower left; and hand-signed by Steve Bauer, in an especially large signature in matching ink, lower right.
