You and a friend will embark on a year of exciting, adventurous theatergoing with 8 shows hand-selected by members of the Playwrights Horizons artistic staff.

Associate Artistic Director Adam Greenfield and Literary Manager Lizzie Stern will meet you at the beginning of the season to share their selections, and to provide background and context for the plays they've chosen; they'll also meet with you at the end of the season to hear your thoughts on the shows you saw.

Playwrights Horizons Company Manager Caroline Aquino will handle all ticket requests for the 8 shows, leaving you with a carefree year of theatergoing.

    Aug 02, 2019 to Jun 30, 2020

  • Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid for 2 people.
  • Duration: 1 hour.
  • All selected shows will take place in New York City.
  • The 8 shows will be selected by the time of the winner's initial meeting with Mr. Greenfield and Ms. Stern.
  • Initial meeting will take place in late August or early September, and final meeting will take place around June.
  • Each of the two meetings will last one hour.
  • Winner must pay ticket costs. Tickets are full-price and always subject to availability.
  • Tickets must be booked four weeks prior to the performance you wish to attend.

  • Experience cannot be resold or re-auctioned.
  • Cannot be transferred.
  • Travel and accommodations are not included.
  • We expect all winning bidders and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Charitybuzz. Polite manners and respect for the generous donor and adherence to any rules or parameters are a must.
  • Seat location will not be known in advance.
  • To be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon date, based on the donor's availability.

The minimum processing and handling charge for this item is $9.95.

The minimum shipping, handling and applicable insurance charge for non-tangible items is $9.95. Detailed redemption information will be emailed to the winning bidder. The minimum shipping charge for hard copies of tickets and certificates is $14.95. The minimum shipping charge for merchandise is $19.95 (shipments outside the U.S. are subject to additional shipping and customs fees). Tickets, certificates and merchandise are typically shipped with signature required, unless otherwise specified, via professional carrier. In some cases, tickets will be left at the venue's "Will Call" window under the winner's name. Merchandise is insured for the winning amount.
