Wherever your interests lie, this experience is sure to spark and inspire your creativity and sense of purpose. Join the unique power couple Fabien Cousteau (ocean explorer, documentary film-maker and grandson of the famous legend, Jacques Cousteau) and Susan McPherson (serial connector, cause-marketer, and CSR expert), and bring your questions and stories to discuss social impact and global improvement over lunch at a fabulous NYC restaurant.
Growing up on the decks of his famous Grandfather’s ships, Calypso and Alcyone, Fabien Cousteau was destined to work to protect our planet’s immense and endangered marine habitats. Fabien champions the family legacy as third generation ocean explorer and filmmaker.
From his vast experience in the field, coupled with a degree in environmental economics from Boston University, he has refined a public policy platform grounded by his strong belief that environmental discipline can be the basis for innovative solutions that strike a balance between regional and global environmental problems and the realities of market economies.
As founder of McPherson Strategies, Susan McPherson focuses on creating visibility, outreach and partnerships for corporations, NGOs and nonprofits working collectively on social good. She’s a regular writer and contributor for publications such as the Harvard Business Review, Triple Pundit, Forbes and Environmental Leader on sustainability and global development issues and routinely speaks at industry conferences including Sustainable Brands, Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy Summit. She has more than 25 years experience in marketing, public relations, CSR communications and business development. More info can be found here.
