Interested in starting your own fashion line? Want to see how it works from the ground up? Intern with fashion designer Regina Kravitz and learn the fashion business in a hands on experience as she launches her new line for delivery to stores, Spring 2013.

You may not know her name, but she is well respected in the industry and a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). You will have a bird’s eye view of what it takes to succeed and will glean incredible insight from Regina’s 35 year-long design career.

You will work directly with Regina and experience all the challenges and problems she herself is encounters. You will learn how to make a sample line, a tech Pac, how to create and merchandise a well balanced line, how to find the right fabrics, how to cost a line, learn what yield and projection are, how to find reps and create sales, how to prepare for production and find suitable garment contractors and all the nuts and bolts that go along with starting a fashion line.

You will work in a small garment center office and be right in the center of where it is happening.
