Joseph D. Reitman is a highly prolific American character actor who somehow also found time to produce, write, and direct movies, while also playing poker professionally! From his hilarious cameo appearance as one of the original cavemen in the first of the GEICO series of TV ads to his recurring performance as Kelly Bundy's boyfriend on Married... with Children, and directing The Late, Late Show with The Craig Ferguson, Joe Reitman has turned his passion for entertaining into a successful career decorated with acclaimed credits over the years. Viewers may also recognize Joe from TV projects The Punisher, NCIS: LA, Supernatural, Monk, and Ray Donovan, among many others. Notable film credits include The Perfect Storm, Lady in the Water, Clueless, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mom & Dad with Nic Cage, The Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, and Archenemy.
Most recently, he has been seen in Netflix's vampire show First Kill, and Disney+’s current action-adventure series National Treasure: Edge of History. While his career was just starting out, Reitman met actress Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie) in acting class and they later married. The two worked together as acting partners while her career took off and they remain friends. Together, they founded Animal Avengers, a nonprofit organization for animal rights. Outside of his successful television career, Joe enjoys speaking at high schools about the importance of being able to write, cruising on his Harley motorcycle, playing video games, and hanging out with his rescue dogs. In his downtime, he teaches acting in Los Angeles whenever possible. Reitman has played at the World Series of Poker four times, has cashed in 3 WSOP events, and won UltimateBet.com's $1 Million Guaranteed Tournament.
