Bid to win this oversized Pete Rose hand-signed & inscribed game-action photograph—plus a Pete Rose signed & inscribed batting helmet!
First, a large-format color photograph, capturing Rose— the all-time MLB leader in hits— mid-swing. Rose’s image is crisp and clear, in front of a backdrop of fans in the stands, blurred into the resemblance of an impressionist painting through the visual magic of the camera’s lens.
The photograph is printed on archival Kodak Professional Endura Paper, and comes framed in a black gallery-style frame measuring 17-3/8" in height x 21-3/8 " width.
Rose has signed the photograph, center left directly within the image area, in a large, clear signature in black marker. Signing “Pete Rose”, he has added the inscription “HIT KING” beneath his signature.
Second in the pair is a bright red Cincinnati Reds #14 batting helmet, also signed and inscribed by Rose, in bold black permanent marker: “Pete Rose”, with the inscription: “BIG RED MACHINE”.
Pete Rose’s signatures and inscriptions on both items have been examined and authenticated. The photograph, by PSA/DNA Authentication Services; the batting helmet, by Beckett Authentication Services. Each item bears a unique alphanumeric certification label from the respective authenticators, and the pair comes with two corresponding Certificates of Authenticity from PSA/DNA and Beckett.
