Haven is currently partnering with the LA Lakers and LAMF on a documentary series directed by Antoine Fuqua on the Lakers’ Showtime era and the leadership of Dr. Jerry Buss and Jeanie Buss.
Haven has produced several documentaries including More Than A Game, a nominee for the People’s Choice Award at Tiff; Under The Electric Sky, which premiered at Sundance; MILIUS, which premiered at Telluride; A Band Called Death, which premiered at SXSW; and Autonomy, in collaboration with Malcolm Gladwell.
Recently, Haven produced season three of The Baxters (MGM TV), Wrecked on TBS and Comedy Central's Idiotsitter, the pilot Habata (Apple/Annapurna) starring Jake Johnson, and the feature film Togetherish, starring Ed Helms and Patti Harrison. Most notably, Hello, My Name Is Doris, directed by Michael Showalter and starring Sally Field, won the audience award at SXSW and the Piaget Producers Award at the Spirit Awards.
Brendan Bragg started his career working as an assistant at Outlaw Productions under prolific producers Bobby Newmyer and Jeffrey Silver. Following that he was a creative executive at Integrated Films & Management where he helped develop the thrillers A Haunting In Connecticut and Borderland before becoming the president of production at RightOff Entertainment where he oversaw the supernatural horror film The Echo.
In 2009, he partnered with Jordana Mollick to form Black Sheep Management & Productions where they developed projects for film, TV, and theater while focusing on representing a carefully curated array of writers and directors. In May of 2013, Black Sheep merged with Haven Entertainment to form a powerhouse management and production company. Brendan produced the feature film Life Partners, directed by Susanna Fogel and starring Leighton Meester, Gillian Jacobs and Adam Brody, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
In 2014, Brendan executive produced the independent comedy Night Owls, directed by Charles Hood and starring Adam Pally, Rosa Salazar and Peter Krause. In 2017, Brendan was the executive producer on multiple digital series including the Complex Networks /Verizon Go90 millennial political comedy series Embed, the murder-mystery show In The Vault and the 90’s-set comedy Play By Play. In 2018, Brendan executive produced the series The Baxters. He continues to focus on managing his stable of writers and directors.
