Mr. Mills began his career working as a dancer and performer in the national tour of 42nd Street. In 2007, Jonathan joined Binder Casting as an assistant where he was responsible for the children’s casting on Disney’s The Lion King. He moved to Paradigm in 2008, where he began as an assistant in the talent and literary departments before being promoted to agent in 2011. Mr. Mills now represents many established and globally acclaimed theater, film and television artists including TONY nominee Dominique Morisseau, TONY and Pulitzer Prize winner David Auburn, as well as the TONY and Pulitzer Prize winning Estate of Jonathan Larson. In addition, Mr. Mills represents many of the most exciting up-and-coming writers, composers, and directors, including Larissa FastHorse, Obehi Janice, Jihan Crowther, Josh Koenigsberg, Michael Kooman and Chris Dimond, Curtis Moore and Tom Mizer, and Ed Iskandar. He most recently put together Rent Live! for FOX with producer Marc Platt, the upcoming tick, tick,…BOOM! film for Imagine and Netflix, and his client Dominique Morisseau wrote the book for the Broadway hit musical Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations. Additionally, Jonathan’s clients have TV shows in development with FX, HBO, HARPO, AMC, FreeForm, and Big Beach Productions, and his clients have written on writing staffs for shows on Hulu, Netflix, NBC, CBS, ABC, Amazon, Apple + and many others. Mr. Mills has also assisted his clients in setting up film projects at Fox Searchlight and Disney +.
