Paul Gerben has evolved his distinctive individual style over a 2 decade career in New York City as a fine artist, photographer & creative director, producing logos and branding campaigns for an impressive roster of clients including Will Smith, Ford Models, VH1, Donald Trump and various other Fortune 500 companies.

His consuming passion has always been creating his own art, and he is now totally focused on that area of his prolific output. Paul grew up surrounded by art and fine objects, in a family that included interior designers ,artists, & sculptors. Combined with a solid art education at Pratt Institute and RISD, this diverse creative background has helped develop his unique aesthetic approach. Working as a photographer & creative director has honed his energetic multi-level vision. Innumerable shoots, both on location and in the studio, have refined his strong sense of composition and fluid use of natural light. His photography has been published in numerous magazines including People, Elle, In Style and E! Entertainment. His celebrity portraits include icons from sports, fashion, politics and the arts, such as Bill Clinton, Bono, Salman Rushdie, Naomi Campbell, and many other boldface names.

Paul’s work ranges from the abstract, in his tribal masks and objects, to redefining the celebrity art portrait, producing a fresh take on Hollywood legends such as Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra and rock icons like The Beatles & Jimi Hendrix.

His work is in many private collections, and most recently has been commissioned or collected by celebrities, athletes, performers & designers.
