Daniel Ae Roo Beer passed away suddenly on July 10, 2017, six days after his 11th birthday. He truly was our Yankee Doodle Daniel, born on the 4th of July. Daniel’s smile and his love of life illuminated every room he entered. Daniel was set to be entering 6th grade at the Norwood Public School in September 2017 Daniel loved swimming, soccer, basketball, tennis and was a self taught piano player who also played trumpet in the school band.
We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of our communities. Everyone wants to know how they can honor Daniel aka Darby. The first way is to smile and to be kind – and add little glitter when you can. Daniel loved all things that sparkled.
To keep Daniel’s smile bright we have formed The Daniel Beer Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3. The Daniel Beer Foundation’s mission is to award monies to organizations that benefit children and enhance their lives.
