YASSY’s BUTTERFLY BALL is an event created to celebrate and honor the life of Yassy Hosseini on what would have been on or around her birthday AND to continue her efforts to fight back against Cancer. Yassy was a fierce, brave and remarkable woman who battled cancer for 7 years, but the disease ultimately took her in October 2016. During those 7 years she dedicated herself to fight back against a disease that has stolen the lives of too many, too soon.
Yassy’s favorite charitable organization was City of Hope and she dedicated a lot of her time organizing fundraisers to help raise money to FIND A CURE. The Warrior of The Light Foundation started this event, alongside City of Hope, to raise awareness and raise money, to continue to fight the battle she fought, until a cure is found.
