Tackle Kids Cancer is a philanthropic initiative benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center. 100% of Funds raised support pediatric cancer research and patient care programs including 11 new trials in pediatric neuro-oncology, as well as provide assistance for at least two new trials to open in 2018 (pending FDA approval.) Additionally, Tackle Kids Cancer is supporting the implementation of the new CAR-T therapy program. This immunotherapy protocol for children who have no other options in the treatment of their leukemia has been approved for only a handful of pediatric medical centers nationally. The Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center is proud to be the only hospital in New Jersey certified.
