Simon’s Heart statement: Simon’s Heart is a nonprofit organization taking innovative approaches to raise awareness about the warning signs and conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death in children. It provides free heart screenings for students; distributes AED devices through its crowdfunding site; promotes research by collecting data (registry) and giving it to qualified researchers, free of charge; protects student athletes by advocating for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act; and raises awareness through partnerships with professional and collegiate sports teams.
