Stacey Levin is the President of Toluca Pictures, a position she started in May 2021 after leaving MGM Studios where she served as Senior Vice President of Scripted Television Development under Toluca Pictures’ founder Steve Stark.
While at MGM Studios, Stacey was responsible for developing, packaging and selling scripted projects. In addition, she brought in several first look deals to the studio including Renee Zellweger’s Big Picture Co., Sam Rockwell’s Play Hooky Productions and Killer Films.
Prior to MGM, she was the Senior Vice President of Television for Global Road Entertainment from October 2016 through the company’s run until December 2020. In that position, she helped shepherd Jett for Cinemax and American Princess for Lifetime. Prior to joining GRE, she served as Executive Vice President of Television for Nicholas Sparks Productions. Under the company’s deal with Warner Bros. Television, she developed The Notebook pilot for The CW, an adaptation of Miss Congeniality with Ellen DeGeneres and Sandra Bullock, as well as other projects for ABC, USA and HBO.
Before her position at Sparks, Stacey started her producer career as the head of television for Gale Anne Hurd at Valhalla Entertainment, the producer of The Walking Dead. As the first dedicated television executive at Valhalla, Stacey sold more than a dozen television projects including Hunters, Horizon, Falling Water and many others for Syfy, USA, NBC, E!, FX, AMC, Starz and others. Stacey started her development career as the Director of Development at Universal Cable Productions.
