Hailing from the UK, Tamara-Lee started her Casting Career with the illustrious Hubbard Casting in London as legendary John Hubbard’s Assistant and then Associate. In 2008 Tamara-Lee took the plunge moved to Los Angeles, and started as an Associate and progressed to Casting Director with the veteran Casting Director Randi Hiller. Together they cast such projects as “Warrior” for Lionsgate directed by Gavin O’Connor, “Thor” for Marvel directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh and “The Next Three Days” directed by Paul Haggis. In 2011 Randi Hiller was offered the position of VP of Live Action Feature Casting for Walt Disney Studios. Tamara-Lee followed her over to Disney, becoming Randi’s Number 2 as Senior Manager of Casting, overseeing the Casting of Features including “Cinderella” directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, “Pete’s Dragon” directed by David Lowery and “Beauty and the Beast” directed by Bill Condon. After 4 years at Disney, Tamara-Lee decided that she was ready to establish herself as an Independent Casting Director. During and Post Pandemic, Tamara-Lee has Cast the following Features that were released in 2021 / upcoming 2022: “American Underdog” for Lionsgate, Starring Zach Levi, Anna Paquin & Dennis Quaid, “Devotion” for Sony, starring Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell, Christina Jackson, Joe Jonas & Thomas Sadoski, “Mr. Malcolm’s List” Starring Freida Pinto, Zawe Ashton, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Sopé Dirisu & Ashley Park for Bleeker Street and “Reptile” for Netflix starring Benicio Del Toro and Justin Timberlake. For Television she Cast “Power Book IV: Force” for STARZ which launched as the biggest Premiere EVER for the company.
