As an actor, writer, and producer Will Ferrell began his career on Saturday Night Live and quickly rose to stardom with iconic performances in films such as ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY, TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY, ELF, STEP BROTHERS, STRANGER THAN FICTION and most recently, the global hit BARBIE.
Along with producing partner Jessica Elbaum, Ferrell is a co-founder of Gloria Sanchez Productions. In 2020, the company announced a multi-year first-look deal with Netflix on the heels of the incredible overnight success of the Emmy-nominated Dead to Me. The production shingle set a multi-year first-look deal with 20th Century Studios in 2021. The three-year pact focuses on developing feature-length films for both theaters and streaming platforms. The production company is also credited with HUSTLERS, BOOKSMART, MAY DECEMBER, THEATER CAMP, SPIRITED and BARB & STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR, all of which garnered critical acclaim and award nominations.
Through Gloria Sanchez Productions, Ferrell recently produced and stars in a road trip documentary called WILL & HARPER alongside his friend Harper Steele, who transitioned at age 61. The heartfelt documentary is an intimate portrayal of friendship, transition, and America as Will and Harper travel cross-country to explore a new chapter of their relationship. After premiering at Sundance in 2024 to two standing ovations, it garnered further critical acclaim at Telluride Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and Fantastic Fest. The documentary released on Netflix on September 27th and currently sits at a 99% Rotten Tomatoes score.
The Los Angeles Kings are a professional ice hockey team based in Los Angeles in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference and was founded on June 5, 1967. The team plays its home games at Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles, their home since the start of the 1999–2000 season. Prior to that, the Kings played for 32 years at the Forum in Inglewood, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.
