This is your opportunity to enjoy a 1-hour meeting with Lollipop Theater Network Executive Director, Evelyn Iocolano, in New York City, Los Angeles or virtually!
You will have the opportunity to attend one of LOLLIPOP’s upcoming, heartwarming, Zoom programs as Evelyn’s special guest. There is no doubt that this will be an exciting event for you to join.
LOLLIPOP's Executive Director, Evelyn Iocolano, brings the magic of movies and entertainment to hospitalized children battling severe illnesses — one storytime session at a time. Alongside Josh Gaspero and Janis Fischer, a Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center volunteer, Evelyn helped co-found Lollipop Theater Network in 2001. To date, the organization has screened 475 current movies and TV series in 88 hospitals nationwide, along with special visits from dedicated LOLLIPOP celebrity supporters including Hugh Jackman, Annie Hathaway, Jack Black, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Gerard Butler, and many more.
To continue this important outreach throughout the pandemic, Evelyn shifted the organization, ultimately producing 400+ interactive online programs and exclusive Story Time Sessions shared via Zoom. This crucial pivot tripled the charity’s outreach and nearly doubled the number of participating hospitals throughout North and South America. LOLLIPOP online programming has successfully entertained and lifted the spirits of nearly 23,000 pediatric patients and their families with special screenings, story readings, arts, and crafts instruction dance techniques, and lots of cheer with the help of Tiffany Haddish, Josh Gad, Zoe Saldana, Lisa Kudrow, Zachary Levi, Tim Allen, Henry Winkler, Debbie Allen, Olympian Shawn Johnson East, Zoe Saldana, Amanda Seyfried, Sterling K. Brown, and Hamilton’s Christopher Jackson. "When we tune into our Zoom,” says Iocolano, “we see pediatric patients in some heartbreaking situations. But when our guest joins in and the programming begins, smiles come across their faces and we know that if even for just those precious moments, we are making a worthwhile impact."
In addition to her charitable mission, Evelyn has worked on several notable feature films, executive assisted the chairman and CEO of RKO Pictures, and the vice president and general counsel of Edison Schools, Inc. She is also an advocate for Free Arts for Abused Children and Step-Up Women’s Network, along with its partners, Break the Cycle and Alexandria House.
Evelyn attended University of South Florida and Pace University, where she majored in advertising. Learn more about LOLLIPOP, go behind the scenes of this fantastic non-profit, or simply bid to support this wonderful cause.
